Polymeric Heat Exchangers
Cesaroni Technology Incorporated has been working closely with the U.S. Department of Defense for a number of years on the development of lightweight cooling components for tracked, wheeled and amphibious vehicles. Both the Naval Surface Warfare Center (Carderock Division), formerly David Taylor Research, and the U.S. Army research branch of Tank/Automotive Command, TACOM/TARDEC, have provided CTI with the unique opportunity to develop and demonstrate its leading-edge polymeric heat exchange technology in demanding military applications.
Heat exchange systems including prime mover radiators, transmission oil coolers, hydraulic oil coolers, turbocharger intercoolers and power steering oil coolers have either been developed or are currently being developed for a number of vehicles including the HMMWV, PSD, DEMO II and LVS.
